At LGLH BAGS, we believe every woman deserves to walk through life with confidence, courage, and clarity. That’s why we’re proud to support Global Erase Self-Negativity Day—a powerful movement reminding us all to silence harmful self-talk and rewrite our inner dialogue with love, strength, and purpose.
This global day of reflection and self-renewal, recognized each year on April 10, is made possible by the vision of Dr. Elizabeth Scott, PhD, in partnership with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and Pilot Pen. Together, these leaders in mental wellness and personal development are helping individuals around the world take meaningful steps toward reducing stress and cultivating emotional resilience.
The Mission Behind the Movement
Global Erase Self-Negativity Day encourages us to take action—not just for one day, but for a lifetime. It’s about:
- Replacing harsh self-criticism with compassion
- Letting go of limiting beliefs and labels
- Embracing our worth, our voices, and our healing
The annual campaign features mindful journaling exercises, self-affirmation practices, and mental health resources that help shift internal narratives and build lifelong habits of positivity.
Why LGLH BAGS Supports This Day
As a brand built for women who’ve faced adversity—especially survivors of violence and abuse—we know that healing begins with how we speak to ourselves.
Our mission aligns with Dr. Scott’s powerful message: Words shape our reality.
And when those words come from within, they carry even more weight.
Each of our bags—from the protective Carmen Handbag to the bold Edith-Hobo Tote—is more than an accessory. It’s a symbol of reclaiming space, voice, and power. We support Global Erase Self-Negativity Day because we believe that what you carry internally is just as important as what you carry externally.
How You Can Participate
- April 10: Take a few minutes to journal or write down harmful thoughts you’ve carried—and then erase them.
- Replace each one with a powerful truth:
“I’m not enough” → “I am more than worthy.”
“I always mess things up” → “I am learning and growing every day.” - Share your affirmation or journaling moment with us on Instagram using #EraseSelfNegativity and tag @lglhbags.
Let’s flood the timeline with truth, beauty, and boldness.

Remember: You Are Not What Happened to You. You Are What You Choose to Become.
We honor Dr. Elizabeth Scott and her incredible work with NAMI and Pilot Pen for creating this global movement of healing and hope. At LGLH BAGS, we carry this mission with pride—and we’re proud to carry it with you.
